Dermal Fillers

As we all age, we begin to lose the fullness which supports our shape and structure, as we lose collagen.

When used skilfully, dermal fillers restore your essential framework, adding volume to targeted areas and making skin look younger.

How Dermal Fillers Work?

We design a personalised plan, with a combination approach tailored exclusively for you. The volume of filler depends on your needs - requiring not only expertise to assess but also to provide treatment. The treatment is only carrier out by a doctor with years of experience.

Dermal fillers, such as Juvederm, are hyaluronic acid based products, and are naturally found in the skin.

Part of our ageing process involves loss of subcutaneous volume over time. As our skin matures we loose collagen - which supports and structures the shape of our face. The natural lines of our face deepen and our wrinkles look more noticeable, which can be worsened with smoking and pollution.

This can lead to increased lines and wrinkles across the face, as well as reduced elasticity of the skin. Hyaluronic acid can play a key part in correcting these changes, especially the lower part of the face - the nasolabial folds, vertical lip lines, marionette lines and thinning of the lips. They can also be used to enhance the volume of the cheeks.

Anti-ageing facial fillers are a non surgical way to achieve younger looking skin and provide volume.

Making indented scars from acne or chicken pox more even with surrounding skin.

Filling out depressions (hollows) under the eye area.

Plumping thin lips and smoothing out vertical lines around the edges of the lips.

One dermal filler treatment is sometimes enough to correct and smoothing out worry lines.

Augmenting cheeks to enhance their shape, often restoring youthful fullness.

Adding volume and smoothing out the deep creases that run from the nose to the mouth (nasolabial folds and smoker's lines).

Frequently asked questions

What are the benefits of dermal fillers?

  • Non-surgical, non-invasive treatment with minimal down time, so you can return to work and daily activities almost straight away
  • Reduction of wrinkles and lines to give a more youthful appearance
  • Re-juvenate lost volume for a softer appearance
  • Long lasting

How long do dermal fillers last?

We utilise premium dermal fillers that have been used and tested for years, to achieve the desired result.

Depending on the area treated and dermal filler used the treatment can last 6 to 24 months. Areas with less fatigue through general life last longer.

What does treatment involve?

Initial meticulous cleaning, followed by the use of a numbing cream or injection to reduce discomfort. An ultra fine needle is used to inject the filler just under the skin, with normal treatment using 3 or 4 injections.

Unlike traditional procedures such as 'face lifts' and 'lipo-modelling', this treatment doesn’t require any cuts, incisions or stitches.

If facial contours are targetted correctly the filler adds volume, restores or enhances your natural shape and gives a more youthful appearance

Duration and recovery?

At the beginning a small degree of swelling may be seen, which settles quickly. Depending on the area being treated, the treatment can last 30 minutes. Once complete, you can leave as soon as you feel ready.

No recovery down time is normally needed after treatment, and you can return to normal activities immediately. As with all injection there may be a minimal amount of bruising that typically lasts approximately 48 hours.

Will I look different?

We pride ourselves on our treatments. We aim to enhance your natural beauty and like any artist we use the contours of your face as our guide. Your normal facial expression will not be affected.
